Common side effects include euphoria, constipation, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, drowsiness, dizziness, itching, dry mouth, and sweating.Side effects may also include addiction and dependence, substance abuse, irritability, depression or mania, delirium, hallucinations, hypoventilation, gastroparesis, bradycardia, and hypotension. Oxycodone was originally produced from the opium poppy opiate alkaloid thebaine in 1916 in Germany. One year later, it was used medically for the first time in Germany.[20] Oxycodone is a therapeutic alternative on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines.[21] It is available as a generic medication.[15] In 2023, it was the 49th most commonly prescribe medication in the United States, with more than 13 million prescriptions.[22][23] A number of abuse-deterrent formulations are available, such as in combination with naloxone or naltrexone.[16][24]

MEDICATION GUIDE
OXYCONTIN (ox-e-KON-tin) CII
(oxycodone hydrochloride controlled-release)
Tablets
Read this Medication Guide before you start taking OxyContin and each time you get a refill. There may be new information. This Medication Guide does not take the place of talking to your healthcare provider about your medical condition or your treatment.
What is the most important information I should know about OxyContin?
- OxyContin can cause serious side effects, including addiction or death.
- Do not cut, break, chew, crush, or dissolve OxyContin before swallowing. If you take OxyContin in this way, the medicine in the tablets will be release too fast. This is dangerous. It may cause you to stop breathing, and may lead to death.
- OxyContin is not for use to treat pain that you only have once in a while (“as needed”).
- Do not take OxyContin 60 mg or 80 mg tablets unless you are “opioid tolerant.” Opioid tolerant means that you regularly use OxyContin or another opioid medicine for your constant (around-the-clock) pain and your body is used to it.
- Do not take more than 40 mg of OxyContin in one dose or more than 80 mg of OxyContin in one day unless you are “opioid tolerant.” This may cause you to stop breathing and may lead to death.

OxyContin Information

What is OxyContin?
OxyContin is the brand name for an opioid analgesic containing the active ingredient oxycodone (also found in Percocet and Percodan). OxyContin is a legal narcotic that is available, by prescription, to treat severe pain.
OC 80 is a controlled-release medication that, when used correctly, provides extended relief of pain associated with cancer, back pain, or arthritis. However, often when the drug is abuse, the tablets are crush and snorted, chewed, or mixed with water and injected–eliminating the time-release factor and allowing for a quick and intense rush to the brain. This practice can lead to overdosing on OxyContin’s active ingredient, oxycodone, by releasing too much of the medication into the bloodstream too quickly. OxyContin is highly addictive, so higher doses of the drug you must take when a tolerance develops. Illicit users of the drug have risen drastically and steadily over the last few years.Buy Oxycodone 80mg Online for Chronic Pain

Generic Oxycontin
Used for Pain
OxyContin is an extended-release (long-acting) form of oxycodone. It’s an opioid that’s use to treat long-term pain when non-opioid pain medications alone don’t provide enough relief. OxyContin is approve for adults and certain children aged 11 years and older, and it’s also available as a lower-cost generic. The tablets are taken by mouth every 12 hours. Common side effects include constipation, nausea, and sleepiness. Oxycodone (OxyContin) is a controlled substance because it has a warning for misuse and dependence.
